Inspired by three different eras and concepts on music. The first movement was inspired by early romantic music and as an ode to Chopin, and Schubert. The second was inspired by Debussy's preludes. And the third was inspired by John Cage's concept of indeterminacy.

Originally written for solo guitar and then rearranged for guitar quartet. The original version of the piece was written for a set of preludes titled "Morning Preludes." The set of pieces was meant to represent a different mood someone can experimence.
